- Originally organized as the National Association of Foreign Student Advisers, NAFSA is a non-profit organization for professionals in all areas of international education including education abroad advising and administration, campus internationalization, international student support, and English as a Second Language (ESL) program development.
- The Forum on Education Abroad is a non-profit, membership association recognized by the U.S. Department of Justice for the field of education abroad.
- Generation Study Abroad seeks to address that shortfall by bringing employers, governments, associations, and others together to build on current best practices and find new ways to extend study abroad opportunities to tens of thousands of college students for whom traditional study abroad programs aren't working. Education Abroad Asia is Generation Study Abroad Commitment Partner with the Education Abroad Resource.
